Meet Our Staff

Alan Mercurio
President & CEO

Since 1986, Alan has been helping his clients plan for the future. He is the founder and president of Mercurio Wealth Advisors, formerly known as Mercurio & Associates, Inc., a financial planning company located in Middletown, KY.

Alan credits his father for his work ethic, devotion to client service, and good business practices.  His father owned a home-improvement business and as Alan points out, “I grew up as a business owner.”  In college, Alan planned to become an architect and build homes and offices for the masses.  In 1986 tragedy struck Alan’s family when his brother-in-law was suddenly killed, leaving Alan’s sister and her young family with a very bleak future.  This incident motivated Alan to pursue financial planning.

Early in his financial planning career Alan coined the mantra for the company "Planning your tomorrows...Today."

Alan loves meeting new people, assisting them in discovering the potential their future holds for them and helping them set realistic financial goals.  His concern for safety of principal and continued growth of assets sets him apart from the average planner or investment advisor.  Alan plans and manages his clients’ personal investment portfolios mindful of current events and market trends.  To accomplish this Alan continually educates himself, his team, and his clients.

Alan speaks frequently at financial seminars and community organizations.
